Functionality/feature/bug fix marked with grey in testing stage (development done).
Minor version 3.0.2:
- Bug fix: Copy previous day: I rare occasions the copied entry makes the program to FC, if time is set to minus time and the entry line is edited (on HTC Desire Android 2.1).
- Bugfix: Database closed on resume of app in rare occasions, resulting in FC.
- Revenue is shown on report tab.
- Minor change of layout on week view to better work with some translation. +/- hours are displayed under total time. So more than week number can be displayed in future.
- Width of date fields shorter, so + button (change date) is always visible.
- Bugfix: If you have time setup to show AM/PM the break time is displayed strangely: 0,5h break time is shown as 12:30AM, should be 00:50.
- Bugfix: If start and stop time is not set on entry (and AM/PM showing on time) the times are displayed as 12:00 AM, should be 00:00.
- Bugfix: FC when creating new entry if manual entry of hours and pressing refresh button
- Bugfix: Timepicking dailog not updated, if manual update of time and refresh is done more than one time on Entry.
- Bugfix: Breaktime display as 12:00/12:00 AM if not set. Should be 00:00
- Bugfix: Hopefully solved probelms with Database closed on resume of app in rare occasions, resulting in FC. Example: sometimes when editing Codes.
Next release 3.1 (planned for September):
Extended improvement of reporting functionality (hopefully a lot of features from Reporting section below) .
- Tab for day totals is removed (space will be used for a new tab)
- New tab for user selected interval of dates
- Time interval for report
- All reports by code
- All reports by code company
- Time in/out times in full report and CSV file.
- Option if you want to open the created CSV file (on the Sd-Card) in external program.
Planned for 3.2:
Start and stop of activities, features like:
- In/out clock – stopwatch functionality. start and stop the time, the hours will be updated.
- “Tab” showing all currently running jobs. Easy overview and easy to find jobs that you forgot to stop.
- Hopefully a nice Widget
Known bugs:
- Export a report to csv, File Editor with an apparently empty document and an error message saying “File not found”, even though the file is correctly exported.

General:

- Choose company on Day/week/Month report: So you can get totals for a specific company and send them your report
- CSV file export fix: date and money separator depending on location
- Detailed reports on week and month view, where each entry is listed in similar way as detailed email report, with the ability to edit.
- Maybe search function
- Switch to Graphs on Day/week/Month report, hopefully both bar and line graphs
- Ability to mark that the week’s/month’s time has been paid/received
- Time interval for report view
- Spreadsheet view of week. The grid made up of Codes horizontally, days vertically.
Misc:
- Maximum time for project – enter the total time for a project and colored warnings if time is running out
- Import from Calendar
- Changed naming convention on labels etc, to match PMI standard. Entry -> Task…
- Different hour rates on a code. Standard rate, hour rate over a set number of hours per week (overtime) and special rates for Saturday and Sunday (double time). The factor can be setup. Different pay rate if over a certain number of hours per week, example 40.
- Purchase version with no ads (was not planning this from the beginning, but the request came in… )
- Multiple person tracking. Be able heck box of who is on job that day from a list of people. Also with ability to add subtract time they work that day.
- Payment handling: setup cutoff date in month, showing the pending earnings from previous month (overtime)
- Mileage tracking
- Expenses handling
- Gps location recording on click in/out and then reverse mapping on report generation
- Selectable currency symbol
- Install2sd on Froyo (Android 2.2 devices)
- Enter a standard hourly rate for all entries (in Settings) to save time entering it with each entry
- Ability to set up tax (in Settings) to get an estimation of earnings after tax.
Month Calendar view with ability to freely chose start and stop day (will solve following requested functions):
- 7-day report: Choose the dates for the 7 day report
- Separate day view on weekly and calendar view
- Mont-report: ability to to set the working month to differ from a normal calendar month: Example 26th January to 26th of February.
- Week-report: ability to chose more than one week.
- Free selectable time period on reports.
- Bi-weekly report
- Year to date report, under a new tab
- Calendar view of week or month with times summed per week

Technical problems or difficulty solving some programming problem might delay certain functionality. Also time available is of course a factor. So I’m sorry that I can’t give a timetable for all functionality at the moment.

A bit confusing to figure out at first with the negative hours showing if you set up your weekly hours, but make up for it with allowing amazing capacity to EASILY change data as needed. Rare to find software that is so flexible in all the right places – making it damn useful for nearly every time keeping need I have ever come across. Even use it to document the me
Nanny’s hours each week and then send the report to ex-husband for cost sharing and tax management right from the app. Beautiful.

I love this app, just a suggestion, when you tap on the date window it would be cool if it brought up a month calender. Also when reporting it would be great if ther was a space to write down mileage. Can’t wait for the next update.
I don’t really understand how to take time for lunch cuase each day can be different times and duration for lunches
I would like to see some way of generating report of whole pay period and totalling pay based on salary & hrs.worked in sort of a calendar-like format. I am donating $3, I know its not much but its all I have in there right now. Maybe more if features added. Thanks for nice app so far, but can always improve on something.
Love this app. I work with so well I even email to payroll as a guide to what I think IV done for the month. I love to pay amount but would like an option for tax just so I have a rough idea what ill get at the end. Apart from that. 10/10

Not sure what the+ /- numbers mean on the week view? Also, would be nice to have project code/ project name/ task/ location fields.

You can email reports in day, week & month view by pressing menu button and selecting Share. All options except create Csv file will get you the option of creating an email.

I like the app, but why does 9.2 + 9.6 = 18.799999997 when I look in Week view to see my total? Shouldn’t it e 18.8?

I’m looking into making a paid version. Unfortunately I can’t sell apps at the moment through Android market from Sweden, I hope they fix that soon.
I recently got my Moment updated and need to know how to get my data that appears to be on my sd card applied to the timesheet app that I had to reinstall due to the complete phone update.
Love the app, it is great for me. I would definitely pay for an ad-free version.

Two very minor niggles (on my Milestone): i) I export a weekly report to csv, and when I do this the app leaves me in File Editor with an apparently empty document and an error message saying “File not found” – but it exports as I want it to. ii) (and this is not just your app) – when entering text in the comments field the ‘Save’ button is hidden by the on screen keyboard and I need to press ‘Back’ to cancel the keyboard before I can save. Must wsate me several seconds a day! (but is slightly annoying).
How soon will there be an update? All I really need is the two decimals. I’ve tried a bunch of apparently like this and yours is the closest to what I need. Keep up the good work!

This app is unproductive & waste of time. I cannot click on a name to only see history. Needs to be deleted.
I can do much better keeping record on notepad.
It would be nice if we could enter our work weeks bi-weekly and also be able to enter the exact time we clocked in and out. Instead of in hour and half our incriments.

This application is excellent. My recommendations are:
1) ability to generate report filtered by code
2) easier way to edit / create codes

Is there a way to link two types of pay? I get a per diem hourly rate plus my normal rate of pay. And is there a way other then manually entering a new entry to have the app configure your overtime for you after say 40 hours that any hours after that it multiples your hourly wage x1.5. Thank you.

Might be a bug on the Droids. If you start inputting data and reorient to landscape (using the virtual keyboard ), all data is lost.

So there will be two levels as you suggested, Company and code.
Probably should change the name of code to task…
Start time and time end + time elapsed are also in the making
At the moment there’s the limitation of the work being done on the same day.

Suggestions.
Providing an added level of work breakdown would be great. Client/Job being the first level, and Task/Assignment being the second.
Have you ever considered GUI similar to a calendar application where you enter the time like an appointment/event? I had a previous WM app that worked like this and it was great. The resulting dbase was Job, Task, Comment, day start,time start, day end, time end, time elapsed. The added data (time start and time end) helps when justifying work efforts.

Entries from the past can currently only be edited by going back to that date. Hope to add functionality so it’s easier to get an overview and edit entries.

Hey, I love the app but I was wondering if there was any way to be able to view the ‘reports’ from within the app? Being able to select the the different events and see and edit the details without going outside the app. As of now I have to export to see my work or I have scroll through days and days to find the right one.

Keep up the good work. My secretary loves the E-mail reports. Springs coming and as a foreman ill have to keep track of several employees times with my own. Be nice to be able to check box of who is on job that day from a list of people. Also with ability to add subtract time they work that day, case their late or leave early. Thanx

Mostly on day. I have to cycle between calendar to figure out date/day. I often fill out previous week sheets later than I should.

Change code and name? Could you please explain more about the how you would like the feature to work? Do you mean a to get a list of all codes, and thereby be able to select one an change it? You can do that by adding an new entry, and the selecting the prefs code tab, but maybe it’s a bit awkward…
A timer you could start and stop on tasks would be great

The comments will be included in the day/month/week reports. I’m working on that right now. Also I hope to include csv export.
There is a bug in this app running on the Motorola Droid. When Entering comments on a new Code only the first three lines are used for input out of the entire text area. Nice as one can then see what one is typing above the pop-up keyboard. But one one comes back later to edit that code one only gets the same three lines, which hides the rest of the text if one types more than these 2 lines. The text should fill up the entire text area until one selects the edit function.
One additional feature request. there is no way to email oneself the comments one types in. – Please someway to add these to the daily and/or monthly email reports.

Nice app. Been looking for just such. Things that would make it better: separate day view on weekly, calendar view, more details on E-mail, again seperating the days. I’m a foreman having to keep track of several guys time so drop down of employees might be nice too down the road.feel to contact me for feedback

This is a major bug: When there are more entries than can be displayed on the screen for a given day, there is no scroll bar. This prevents all editing or deletion of entries that cannot be seen. Also, in landscape mode, the display not scroll when adding or editing an entry.
